DRINKS AND POLICIES

No outside alcohol will be permitted on festival grounds. If you bring outside alcohol on the premises, we will be required to ask you to take it off premises. We follow the city enforced alcohol policy. Per KRS 243.260, the Festival is only permitted to sell alcohol by the glass. There will be a wide selection of draft beer, and other libations available for purchase, but we are unable to sell wine by the bottle or take pre-orders for bottles of wine. Thank you for understanding!

ABOUT YOUR TABLE

With your $150 rental you get a table from 5 pm to 11 pm with eight (8) chairs. Picnic tables are 30"x 96” and no extra chairs will be permitted. Your table is for Saturday evening picnic only - not for other festival events - and is non-refundable, rain or shine. The theme for the picnic will be “Free Your Mind… and the Brass Will Follow” and can be used for table decorating, but is not required. The theme focuses on the diversity in brass band music and how many directions and cultures brass band music represents!

-Free Your Mind  Award – this table best reflects the theme of the Picnic (see above). 

-Best in Brass Award – This table best reflects the Great American Brass Band Festival

-The Improv Award – Jazz is often improvisational, and this award will go to the table that best exhibits an innovative or creative concept. 

-Best in Business Award will be presented to the table that best showcases a business and their love for Danville. 

You may decorate your table to your liking, whether entering the judging contest or not. Please take care of your table! The festival is not liable for any damages (including blemishes, permanent markings, breakage, etc.)  and will bill you for any cost associated with damages that may occur. We do not own these tables– we rent them and therefore must take care of them! Thanks for your cooperation! 

RAIN PLANThe current rain plan is to take the picnic into the Hazelrigg building. If this changes, we will notify you when we send your picnic packet information. At this time, if there is light rain, we will continue the music or pause until the rain passes. If unable to continue due to heavy rain without end or strong storms, unfortunately we will have to end the evening. Please note your table reservation is non-refundable, rain or shine. It is a direct contribution to GABBF. Thanks for your understanding, cooperation, and support.
